Train Driver recording
Monday 16th August 2010
We are very excited to report that we have recorded our first single, 'Train Driver'! A lovely sunny sunday at Plainsounds studios in the heart of the Cheshire countryside with the incomparable Dan Watkins at the helm was the perfect settng for an assortment of biscuity action. We welcomed our favourite hobnob Anna back into the tin for the afternoon, and we were joined by the wonderful James on violin.
We are busy listening and mixing, rest assured you'll hear the results here first, as well as details about a launch party or two!

Wychwood festival
Friday 2nd April 2010
We went, we saw, we conquered, we got the T-shirts!
We saw Supergrass, Super furry animals, oysterband, kissmet, boxkid, ten bears, the nouvelles, jake flowers, little boots, some corking performance poetry and much much more.
We made some doppelgangers out of clay, we bumped into loads of people we knew, we found some real toilets, we had a champagne breakfast, we went raving in the silent disco, we had a blast!
Many thanks to fi for driving and cooking duties, many thanks to Doghouse for inviting us and thanks to everyone who watched us and thought we were good.
See you next year!
"Becca's songs have always been sweet treats, but with the added dimension of the Broken Biscuits, particularly Anna’s heartbreaking cello, they have become that little bit more special. This is grown-up, thoughtful, emotional music that cuts to your heart and feeds your soul and it is simply beautiful."
Chris Long, BBC Manchester
